- The new job will probably require you to be working here
before you are ready to physically move with your family. Good quality
apartments are available with several levels of furnishings on all sides of town
for varying rental periods.
- Local Schools, Neighborhoods, etc.
- Let's find out what's important to you. Is it school for
the kids ? Then we'll spend a few days visiting school systems and meeting with
principals, guidance counselors, teachers, etc. We'll get the specifics on
curriculum and visit classrooms. Concerned about neighborhoods and amenities ?
Let's find out what you like about your current home and neighborhood, and see
if we can't duplicate what you like and minimize what you don't like.
- Financial Counsel
- You obviously will need to know the best interest rates
and mortgage products available. You will also probably need to sell your
current home. We can offer selling advice as well as financial counsel on swing
or bridge loans, 2nd mortgages, etc.
- Relocation Expertise
- Many employers offer relocation benefit programs to their
transferees. Mail or fax a copy to us. We can help you interpret the fine
points, take maximum advantage of what is offered, and help you stay on the
required time track so you don't lose any benefits.
- Buyer Agent Representation
- We will work for you and no one else ! We represent your
interests exclusively, and are totally dedicated and committed to achieving your
goals, not the sellers' or the sellers' agent or whoever else.
- Resale Considerations
- Whatever home you eventually choose to buy, you will not
own it forever. Resale investment value is extremely important. If there are
potential resale problems, we will let you know up front.
- Home Inspections
- We'll guide you through the inspection process and assure
you receive expert advice regarding current and potential problems with your
future home.
- Closing Representation
- Even if you can't be there, we'll attend your closing to
represent your interests. Need a power of attorney or a wire transfer of funds ?
We'll see it gets done.
